Make Your
Own Candle

WARNING:

Safety comes first! Parental supervision required. Burn within sight. Trim wick to 1/4" before lighting. Keep away from foreign materials, drafts, children, and pets. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Only burn candle on a level, fire-resistant surface. Stop use when only 1/4" of wax remains.

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1

​

Attach wick to candle jar.

​

Peel off the sticker from the wick, and stick the wick to the center of the jar.

STEP 2

​

Create colorful layers of sand wax.

​

(a) Create a bottom layer by pouring white sand wax into the jar, about 0.25" deep.

​

(b) Use the wooden spoon to scoop colored sand wax into the edges of the jar. Fill the center with white sand wax until level with the colored sand wax edge.

(c) Repeat step (b) to create different colored layers of sand wax until jar is filled up to the following line:

STEP 3

​

Add decorative wax melts.

​

Place decorative wax melts on top of the sand wax.
